Dana Stewart

E-Z Project Development

Dana Stewart is the Founder of a consortium of "deep green" construction consultants. As a developer of eco-resorts in Belize in the 1990s, Dana acquired a private-label line of microbial products and developed the technologies for delivery in aquaculture, agriculture, wastewater treatment, and waste conversion, as well as sustainable green building materials and building-integrated energy systems.

Dana brings to EZ further experience in all aspects of negotiating and administering contracts, copyrights and patents, sales and licensing, financing strategies, and regulatory agencies' protocols. Dana has established alliance partners and affiliated contractors for a variety of applications of non-polluting, state-of-the-art technologies worldwide. The integration of systems and personnel, and securing capital, are areas of expertise.

Dana's participation in multilateral environmental trade missions, forums, and summits has established a base of strong relationships for Exemplar Zero projects. As a university instructor, Dana learned that Marketing and Education are essentially synonymous. Dana continues to write and speak on green technologies and green jobs training. Simple, logical, low-tech systems are extremely effective, and are easily duplicated most anywhere - on marginal lands, and in remote or disaster locations. They are accessible, both financially and physically, to the most people, and can also lead to the integration of entire industries. They provide local green jobs of every skill level, a healthier environment and healthier people. This, in turn, provides for a healthy economy. These are the goals of the Exemplar Zero Council.
