International Supporting Personages
Via the office of H.E. (Fmr) PRESIDENT ARPAD GONCZ OF THE REPUBLIC OF HUNGARY
In the Spring of 2000, the President of Hungary, Mr. Arpad Goncz, contacted Heads of States around the world and asked them to join him in the endeavor of creating a new institution for global scholarship. This new academic unit is the World Honors Class which will enroll selected students from all participating nations to study for eight semesters in eight different countries.
The Heads of States of the participating nations have agreed to meet, once a year, with the WHC students of their own countries in order to encourage the students' academic endeavor and boost their diligence in their international studies.
